This morning i am grateful to have reconnected with an old friend last night. i am grateful for the chance to get to know Laurie a bit more and the amazing gift she is to the universe. I am grateful for my wife who did all the clean up after the potluck so that somebody could stay and tell me their story. I am grateful for the quiet time alone this morning to write, reflect, edit, and grade. I am grateful for the gift of life and what each day unveils.
