Today I am grateful for my windows. I am not sure I have ever given thanks for them, but I am trying to give thanks for the things I take for granted. I am grateful for how they let the sun shine through and brighten up my world. I am grateful for how they protect me from the elements when I need them to and let them in when I need them to. I am grateful for how they serve as a television set for our cats who love to sit and look out through them. I am grateful for those who created them, installed them, and maintain them.
