This Little Light of Mine
This little light of mine,
I’m gonna let it shine.
I will remember those lines forever.
I also remember how often I have
not let my little light shine
There were time I did not express, or act on, my own ideas.
I did not listen to my inspiration.
I did not listen to my soul.
Each time I not only betrayed myself,
but the Ultimate who was whispering
to me and through me.
So now I embrace the song
and this little light of mine,
I let it shine.
I listen to my soul
I honor myself
and my Ultimate
and let it shine.
