The world is my living space
he said.
He was a homeless man,
I saw picking up trash.
He wasn’t looking for things for himself,
he was just cleaning up the space.
When I asked why he was doing this,
that was his answer.
The world is my living space
and I am keeping it clean,
just like you keep yours.
What if I thought of the world
as my living space too.
I live in more than my home,
I live in every part of the world,
If I did little things every day
to clean the world
like I do my home,
we could all live a little better
in the space, we all live in.
